Bursting into (random) song

Does anyone else just randomly burst into song & sing the most random song imaginable.

Was making coffee in the kitchen there & for God knows what reason started singing 'Feed the birds' at the top of my voice

Yes, with a special gift for made-up nonsense songs. I might put it on my CV.

All the damn time, it's either that or spontaneous raps. (Inevitably followed by "I am absolutely wasted in this house"!)

Feed the birds? As in the song from Mary Poppins? Weirdly, I started singing "Let's Go fly a kite" while I was making dinner 😂

Yes. All the time, constantly annoy my family with it especially when they start unconsciously singing the same thing.

My father. Mostly hymns or Flanders and Swann.

I do this all the time! Anything goes. Flinders and Swann, remembered songs from my primary school song book, excerpts from music I've played recently, carols and totally made up songs... it's usually when I've made up a song and it's totally stupid that I turn round and my husband is watching me like this 😳

Yes, all the time! My DD (4) has inherited this trait and can often be heard singing at the top of her voice when she is meant to be falling asleep! Her most recent offering was a "happy mother's day" song based loosely on the tune of one of her nativity songs from last year 🤣

All the time. And I change the words to include the animals' names for added joy. I know they love it 😂

Absolutely. Including a lot of made up songs about our pet hamster.

Oh yeah, sometimes Brain Radio accidentally plays out loud. Drives my husband nuts because whatever I start singing gets stuck in his head for days.

All the time, I often sing to my front of house staff to pass the corned beef pie over😂I'm caught many times by customers, they find it hilarious! My dc are less amused and tell me off for singing in public, it doesn't help that I'm not very good😂

I do this all the time...my family frequently tell me to be quiet and that life is not just one big musical😂

Yes! I do this . I've only got to hear or think a random word or phrase and then I'm bursting into song and not always the whole song, could just be a line of it . I'm so glad I'm not the only one! 😂

Oh yes! I always get most of the words wrong too. So it's not just random, it's like really random. Also talk to myself out loud. 😂

I enjoy making up my own lyrics to whatever is on the radio to make my DH laugh.

I have music running through my head all the time when i'm awake and sometime it just comes out! Loudly at home! I sing quietly at work while absorbed in tasks and lots of people have said it's nice to hear someone happy in their work 😊

Every single day but that's common with ADHD. Along with random noise making and repeating same line over and over from a catchy jingle. I drive my partner mad! 😁 And myself.
