I think it would be helpful for little girls to be told early on that to ‘have all your dreams’ requires a great deal of juggling and careful selection of a mate if they want to have babies. So many dreams die in the crushing reality of raising children in Britain today.
Obviously not everyone’s reality, but common nonetheless.
