Glimmers are the opposite of triggers… what has made your week special? What small moments have brought you joy?

Agree with fellow teacher: when kids say hi with a geninue smile. Sitting in the pub having a beer mid-dog walk and listening to a good song. Daughter's birthday with her lovely friends. Enjoying studying for an upcoming test (especially when I thought I'd forgotten everything).

5.39pm and its not dark yet.

That's a good one for sure!

A couple of daffs at a time in from the garden for a bud vase next to where I often sit in the kitchen are smelling absolutely lovely. St DavidsSt Davids
And I've remembered how to do the MN daffodil emoticon.Grin

Had a bowl of Melon won't mean much to most of you.. but to me it does.😋Not had any for four years ...First time l got covid ( pre vaccinations) Melon ( along with pineapple) tasted just like pure salt to me.🤢.. l kept testing every now and again.. yesterday when l tried it.. it was like nectar... bloody gorgeous 😍.. so l bought an whole one.. I'm in heaven.😁

These are brilliant! Looking for glimmers can actually train your brain (your Reticular Activating System to be precise!) to look for them 😍

It hasn't rained for a few hours and we have lovely pink sunset.

I am hoping that my glimmer will be this evening!
I've just been through a recent break up and went to collect my belongings from his today. Was worried I'd lie on the couch feeling sorry for myself all day. But am BLITZING the house instead.
Half way through, upstairs almost done.

I'm looking forward to clean pjs, a glass of wine and a film later with lovely smelly candles lit.
It's taken me so long that I suspect downstairs will have to wait til tomorrow, but I'm SUPER proud of myself Smile

It’s not been a great week for us as usual but one glimmer is that the police have finally arrested the man who seriously assaulted DH on NYE exactly 2 months after the assault (they knew who did it on the night, they just haven’t bothered to do anything about it).

My eldest dd cleaned the kitchen whilst I was at the park with the younger 2 to help me out and I reached the bottom of the laundry basket!

I think I am getting through to eldest regarding GCSE English. Work. In progress clearly but every journey starts with a single step!

It's light when I walk to the station on my way to work now.

There a little cat I see every day and I've taken to carrying some dreamies with me and every day she pops up from
under a car for some treats and a fuss.

We're waiting to exchange on our dream house by the sea

I had a lovely text chat with my mum earlier about nothing in particular and it made me smile

I made plans to meet a good friend for dinner next week

I've got a new book in my bag to read that I'm looking forward to.

When I get home ( been at work for 12 hours) I plan to have a hot, deep bath and listen to a podcast with a glass of wine for company.

My husband has just text to say he's put dinner on.

I'm healthy and have people who love me.

In my head ( because I hate my job and my current rented house) I often think I'm not happy. But then I add up all the lovely things above and realise I'm truly hashtag blessed.

Thanks OP for reminding me how lucky I am. Flowers
