How would you describe your ideal day?

What is your ideal day?
Whether it's a working day or nonworking day?

Mine would start with a coffee and crossword.
Then a healthy breakfast and some exercise.
On a school day, the school run would be there too.

If commuting to work, it'd be an under 1 hour door to door.

On a work day it would be work I'm really excited and passionate about overall (of course there will always be bad work days) and lets me work hours so that I can do the school run guilt free.

On a non workday I'd have 1-2 hours to do any hobby or 'me time' activity I'd like.

Then we'd have a few hours quality family time (like going to the zoo or an exhibition or whatever it may be).

Evenings will have a healthy home cooked meal, a movie or tv show with the whole family and general wind down time.

Then 7-8 hours good quality sleep and to wake up well rested and energetic.

Waking up to a clean and tidy home.

Feeling well (I have ME/CFS).

Having no commitments and nothing in my diary.

Maybe doing something nice spontaneously.

Pigs 🐷 might fly!

Wake up early and get outside into nature on a cold, crispy morning.

Come home and cook a full English breakfast with hot buttered toast and a pint of fresh orange juice.

Go out again for another stroll by the canal.

Come home and binge watch a couple of Judge Judy episodes or Kitchen Nightmares.

Crack open the prosecco, watch an old 80's film and chill on the sofa whilst waiting on my Indian takeaway.

Then I check my lottery ticket, I've won £5,000,000 so retire from the working world with immediate effect 😃

My ideal day would be a Saturday. I'd wake up and get a coffee, watch TikTok for an hour or so back in my bed.

Take the dog for a walk on the beach and it's a nice sunny day, then come home and make bacon rolls.

Play some Nintendo switch, watch some tv or do some puzzles/lego all day long.

Take the dog to the park for a game of fetch and a play with other dogs.

Home and into my pyjamas, order a Chinese takeaway and have a bottle of wine while watching a good comedy/action movie. Alternatively have friends round to play board games.

Bed nice and early.

Saturday.
Lazy sex with Mr S
Coffee and breaks fast based on bacon and egg of some sort
Will have cleaned the night before so no housework
A little light shopping
Meet DH in pub where we watch Leeds United beat anyone
Cook together in evening
Share a bottle of wine watching a good Netflix box set
Earlyish to bed with a book

Waking up to a spotless house
Going out to have pedicure and manicure
Having a back and shoulder massage
Lolling about on sofa watching crap tv followed by a takeaway delivered and a few glasses of wine .
