Fun films for 11 year old girl

DD and I have a rare evening alone together tonight and I’m looking for a fun film for us to watch together. I thought of Pitch Perfect but wasn’t sure if that was too mature as it’s been a while since I watched it. She’s seen the High School Musical movies, The Greatest Showman, School of Rock and the Sing movies and I can’t think of anything else in that genre. It doesn’t have to be musical though as she’ll happily watch anything. Those are just examples of films she’s enjoyed.

Can anyone recommend anything lighthearted and fun for us to watch?

Me and my 11 yr old DD like watching Mean Girls, Spiceworld and Legally Blonde together. They are our forever favourites and perfect for a movie night together.

The Goonies.

Maybe a but young but my dd still loves 'Yes Day'. Freaky Friday is also good. The Avatar films were a hit here too.

Pitch Perfect is probably fine. It has been one of DD2's favourites since she was about 8. She's just had her 13th birthday and was watching it with her friends on her sleepover, they all love it too (half of them were 12 so not much older) so it's definitely popular.

Mean Girls, Clueless.

Freaky Friday (Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis) is a good one!
