New car for daughter provisional licence insurance

My daughter is going to take her driving test in a few weeks
I've just bought her a 2nd hand car which will be in her name to practise in and for after the test
What's the best way to insure this for the temporary time she's on the provisional licence
The insurance for her as new qualified driver is just over £1000 from admiral

I have been using veygo so she can drive my car
Therefore would it be best to carry on with veygo for a few weeks on her new car then take out a different insurance
Or find a learner driver insurance and change it when she eventually passes her test (don't want black box)

Thanks

When my son was learning I used collingwood to insure him. You can insure for a month at a time, they are specifically for learner drivers. Maybe try them?

£1000 is very cheap for a new driver, especially without a black box so just double check the insurance is correct. Seems a bit suspicious. My son paid 1400 for his first year with a black box and his friends who have just passed are getting quotes of 3k and upwards.

I got short term insurance in a similar situation via Adrian Flux - I had to phone for quotes not done online.
