Is anyone here into cameras/photography?

I used to dabble in photography years and years ago, I had a second hand DSLR then, and I feel quite out of the loop as I read specs now..
So far I got recommended the Sony Alpha ZV-E10 which looks interesting as it has exchangeable lenses but before I commit to such a purchase I would really like some more opinions.
I am looking for a camera to tick the below boxes:

  • good for travelling
  • great zoom - I am partial to trying to snap a pic of the odd bit of wildlife
  • good for sports/ motion photography - I will be taking some pictures of football games as well as martial arts competitions
  • good for bit of video

If there is any photography people out here I would sincerely appreciate any opinions or product recommendations.

My main body is a Nikon D7200 with a 16-80mm lens. I also have a wide angle, fish eye and long lens (80-400mm). I shoot mainly landscapes, with the odd bit of reportage and sports (ice hockey mainly).

My best suggestion would be get yourself to a camera shop that does rentals (if you're anywhere near London, Wex are very, very good and do rentals - they also do rental by post), speak to the staff and rent some kit before committing to buying. I've always done this when eyeing up a new lens, as I want to know how it's going to perform in the conditions I shoot in, and most importantly, how heavy it's going to be if I'm taking it trekking across the countryside for that brilliant landscape shot.
