Just had wonderful news

i have just heard from my sil that my gorgeous granddaughter was born at 1 41 this morning. Both dd and the baby are doing well and will be coming home soon. I am excited to tell my grandson - dd’s older child when he wakes up as he is staying with me while dd was in hospital. I will get to meet the baby at about 1 after mum, dad and baby have all had a sleep.

We have snow here so when we told our six year old grandson that his sister had been born we asked him what was more exciting the snow or his sister after some thought he fortunately said his sister.😁
