What a lovely man he was!
Ticks all the boxes, for sure.

Swooningly Handsome
Amazing talent
Faithful friend
Kindhearted philanthropist.

I drive my wife crazy with Last Christmas every year.

Thanks OP for the Netflix recommendation, that's Saturday evening sorted.

Just watching Freedom..George was absolutely amazing. Understand that that younger people might not understand . George was heart-stopping for my age group.

Oh I loved George Michael. That voice! And what a kind and lovely man. Sorely missed.

I think the younger generation love him too - my DD's cohort (turning 20) all know his music. I was actually quite surprised when I found this out - and pleased, obviously. Maybe our "mum music" has been more influential than we thought?

EmmaEmerald · 02/03/2024 01:51

I think George was an icon, there's even a Plaisir de France dance tune that repeats his name. Ageless music.

I can't find the concert on Netflix, just the Wham documentary.

My favourite cheer up song from him is Flawless.
