Blood test scared

Hi everyone I’ve had a blood test done at clinic today and I have a lot of anxiety and now I’m scared in case the needle wasn’t clean because it wasn’t done by my doctors and I’m really stressing about it I’m so paranoid when it’s things like this

In the UK? Definitely brand new and clean.

@TiredArse yeah I’m in the uk, I just get paranoid because I didn’t look at the needle so I didn’t get the reassurance it was clean I’m just so paranoid about it

Brand new and perfectly clean. Many years of nursing behind me, taken thousands and thousands of blood samples, all needles are clean and disposed of immediately afterwards.

I'm a nurse. All needles are taken out of a new pack every time and disposed of afterwards. We don't re-use needles. Even when drawing up medication from a vial, we change them and use a new one to administer injections. The caps are only taken off right before use so there is no way for them to become contaminated.
