Alcohol after course of diazepam

Took 2mg of diazepam 3x yesterday, and one 2mg diazepam early this morning, 6am ish as perscribed for deblitating back pain, believed to be muscle spasm. I know absolutely no alcohol whilst taking diazepam but how long until I can drink? Ive had a shit few weeks, norovirus last week as well and really fancy a glass or 2 of wine tonight. Dr Google is quite vague on the length of time I need to wait, or if this is a low enough dose to be safe. Any GPs around who can advise? Or anyone with similar experience who can?

Afaik you wait 5 days.

You ideally need to speak to a pharmacist. Is the pharmacy that gave you the medication still open? They can advise.

2mg dosages are such a tiny amount that I'd definitely have a glass or 2 at home, no problem.

I wouldn't go out drinking or have a whole bottle or anything. But I've had a glass same day plenty of times.

I couldn't get ahold of anyone so decided not to bother. May have a glass tomorrow eve instead. Thanks for the replies!
