Stupid names for your significant other?

Does anyone else have a strange habit of making up nicknames for their significant other?

I could never admit these in front of friends. So I have name changed for this.

I call my dh: diamond monkey, and
gorill-la-la, shitshit the shrimp

I am an highly educated and professional woman…😮 Curious if I am just weird or do other people make names up

We call each other weird abbreviations of our names but I couldn’t share what they are as it would be outing 🤣

both well educated professionals that have been together for several decades 🙄

We have so many. We often resort to Titch, Fart, Farty Bum, Arse, Arsehole to give just a flavour of them. 🙄🤣

That's just us. We've been married for over 30 years and together for well over 35.

Farty McFart-Fart, hyphenated because he’s posh

Stringhead, poo head, farty pants, lovey, butt snack we are both well educated with serious jobs 🤣🤣

We have some weird names for each other too. My 4 year old has started using one of them to address me now.

I don't make up names for him but I always call him Haha, because that's what my DD (his step-daughter) called him for years starting as a toddler (she makes up new names for him every half a year or so now, for the last few years but those ones don't stick in my head like Haha did). Even if we're in a crowded place I will call out Haha to get his attention, I can't help it now, I just can't think of him by his real name.
