What childhood "pretend games" do remember playing with family?

When walking along a path with lots of manhole covers under which splashing water was heard, my dad pretending that there was a troll in a boat down there who might climb up and eat me up.

My mum didn't like role playing games in general, but she liked telling stories, and illustrating them on a blackboard. She used to tell them based on places we had been.

When I was older, my brother and I played lots of games about being in Narnia.

Never played pretend with my parents but my brother and I were always pretending. Schools (I was the teacher and he had to do the work I set him), power rangers, secret agents, Robin Hood, lions... anything and everything really.

We once pretended for so long that we'd accidentally gone back in time to the Victorian era, I almost started wondering if we really had! We were out in the countryside and no cars or anything to ruin the illusion.
