Croutons

I’ve just made some croutons in the air fryer and OMFG I think I may live on them. Soooo crispy and crunchy - not like the ones you buy that you could break your teeth on. Perfect BUT didn’t have the certain taste that I’ve tasted before in restaurants. I used EV olive oil but is there any other oil I could use that would give a better flavour?

Garlic oil might be a good one to try.
Rosemary infused oil?

Thing is I’m not really a fan of those sorts of flavours… 😳 the very best croutons I’ve had just tasted… oily but a really nice oil! I wonder if I try vegetable oil…

Olive oils have different flavours depending on where it was made.
There's quite a difference between Spanish, Italian and Greek olive oil.
It would be pricey to try them all but it will mean that you get to do lots of taste tests on a regular basis :))
