How to get to South Kensington by train?

Not the tube, I hate it. But I have tickets for the Royal Albert Hall next month. Is there a mainline station and bus route I can take? I've googled but it all shows me the tube. Coming into Waterloo by train if needs be. Thanks!

Take a taxi (or book an uber) from Waterloo. Far less hassle and will be exactly point to point.
I hate the tube too.

Google is showing me south western rail to vauxhall then a bus. Looks like a faff but doable.

If you can go into Paddington rather than Waterloo the royal Albert hall is then a walk through Hyde park. You'd have to taxi it back though.

If you really really don't want to get the tube (why?) just get a cab.

I've had a very quick look for you.

Apple maps shows lots of options and maps them out as well.

The TFL app shows you options as well.

I just put in a random day and time. See screenshots of the options below

I'm sure there are many ways to get there, including walking / taxi over the bridge and getting a bus from that side of the river.

Number 9 bus from Charing Cross. I sing at the Albert Hall with my choir quite a lot and have used that route many times.

I should have said that it goes straight to the RAH; no need to walk up from South Ken. It's about 20-25 mins.

Thank you @AtomHeartMotherOfGod , that's perfect!
