Ideas for milestone birthday 50th by myself

During the day I’ll be by myself and I’m looking for ideas for something nice to do, but that doesn’t cost £££.

Evening with DH & DC is sorted so it’s just something in the daytime. All friends will be at work so it’s just for me.

I don’t want a spa day or nails done, but open to other ideas please.

If that was me I would have lunch out in John Lewis and a good look round as I seldom go.

I'd probably have a duvet day in peace because I'm very lazy and love my bed.

Anything on at the cinema you'd like to see? Then take an excellent snack selection along to that.

I'd pack some nice grub and go for a long walk but I do live in the Peaks.

I think I’d book a massage first thing and take myself to Brighton for the day, some lunch, some shopping and the seaside.

Depends what you like doing?
If I was under no obligation to be home at a specific time I would take the train to the seaside for the day (although my birthday is in May - better weather 😂).

What about a whisky or wine tasting day

Depends where you live. In London, I’d take myself for a stroll round the V&A and a nice lunch.

Lunch out and a matinee (film or theatre) would be my choice.

A guided tour somewhere local than you have never really looked at before.
