Cats play fighting

Every night Cat A starts a fight with Cat B. Cat B always wins the fight and Cat A slinks off looking annoyed. So why does Cat A always start it when he always loses?

In our house both cats are equally likely to start a fight. But neither of them ever wins as such. They both eventually just part ways, looking furious with each other.

They are cats. That's what they do 😅😅

Why is one so aggressive/stupid?

Ours are the same! I think it's their way of expressing their fondness for each other as it's only play fighting, no claws.

presumably cat B is really irritating and cat A can't hold back from the argument. We've all been there.

Cat A is the more playful one and cat B can't be arsed.

Cat B just sits there minding her own business and fucking Cat A jumps up and bites her arse. Then she chases him around until he rolls over on the floor and goes to hide behind the sofa looking wounded.

Cat A wants to play.

Cat B wants him to sod off.

I have three cats. If they want to play they can play fight all round the house taking turns to thwack each other (no claws).

If one of them does not want to play the others get full claws in the face and told to sod off.

When I had 2, brother and sister, the brother would always start on his sister when she didn’t want to fight/play… he was quite a sweetie though!

Their other brother lived next door and he’d start on his brother unfairly but when it came to his sister he was meek and mild! She definitely ruled the roost 🤣.

We have the situation where random Cat X fights with our Cat A, Cat A loses. Cat A then comes in all riled up and attempts to beat up our Cat B. And loses, because Cat B is totally fed up of being beaten up by a loser.
