Amazon photos, a safe way to store my photos?

I have 1000's of photos on my phone.
I'm now using amazon photos as I have amazon prime.
Do you think it is safe enough for me to delete the photos off my phone? They just take up so much storage.

I've been using amazon photos for years problem free. I do occasionally have fleeting moments where I think 'what if....' but I've put my trust in it and cleared my phone.

What happens to the photos once you cancel Amazon or it stops existing?

Following with interest. I use Amazon photos, but haven't deleted photos from my phone. But you don't get much video storage with Amazon Prime, so keep videos on your phone if not your photos.

Buy yourself a usb hard disk to have a physical backup in your house too.
