ASOS returns

With ASOS having a huge catalog and offering buy now, pay later payment options, I get tempted to order a few different options with the intention of returning what isn’t suitable as it might not cost me much! I have an event coming up and there’s genuinely several dresses that could work.

But I read that asos ban accounts that return too many things! Wondering if this is a common thing asos does? If so, how many returns do they allow before they start banning people?

I do this a couple of times a year, order a few hundred pounds worth and return what I don’t want.

Id say on average I order £700 worth of clothes 3 x a year and return close to 80% of it.

I don’t use Klarna though, I order on my credit card. Whether using Klarna is more likely to lead you to be banned I don’t know, but it does make sense to me that it might increase the chances over actually spending the money out to then be refunded

I order from asos every couple of months and I’d say I return half of each order for the reasons you mention. No problems so far. I suspect there will be other factors they take into account like suspecting people of wearing then returning, people returning things they have damaged/got dirty or wannabe influencers who do ‘hauls’ and then return everything!
If you’re genuinely trying to find your size and returning what doesn’t fit they’ll recognise that as legitimate behaviour
