What’s your Nando’s order?

I’ve been twice in the last month because the one off J9 on the M6 is so convenient as a halfway point between Bristol and Lancashire which is a route I do semi regularly.

I like the thighs, extra hot with rainbow slaw and tenderstem broccoli. Maybe a side of halloumi if I’m feeling greedy. Always a bowl of olives and ask for extra pickled garlic cloves. Yum.

And do you tip? It’s barely more service than McDonalds so I don’t. Also hate that they’ve stopped doing hot drinks now.

I always order delivery rather than actually pop into the store. eat it in my bed snuggled under the duvet.

Nothing since they stopped their gluten free veggie salads. Used to love them.

Liver! They do the best liver. But what's this about the mango and lime? I always had it with that sauce!

If I'm with DP we generally always get a platter but if not then either fino pitta with peri chips or medium chicken butterfly with peri chips and either garlic bread or rice, all the carbs! Always medium and with a pot of garlic perinase, oh and a halloumi starter.

I have never been to Nando’s, and have always fancied going. Clicked on the thread for tips on what is good and now I am starving and likely to be in Nando’s tomorrow!

Medium butterfly chicken with spicy rice and corn on the cob - sometimes will swap the corn for tenderstem broccoli.

usually share a starter of hummus and pitta and halloumi sticks with DP ☺️

I had one today! Had half chicken lemon and herb, chips and macho peas, side of hallmoui. With extra garlic peri sauce. No, I don’t tip anyone.

I went recently after not going in years. I didn't enjoy it. I had half a chicken (medium) with chips. The chicken was very dry, the rainbow slaw was dry and there was a bag of McCain oven chips on the counter. I remember it being really nice when I went as a teenager.

I always just have the pitta if I take DS as I feel its so over priced now. If we make a big family night of it and DH goes we have the whole chicken to share and the 4 sides, rice, mash, Salad and chips.

Quarter chicken medium hot with spiced grains & butternut squash and either coleslaw or corn on the cob. I'll also get a bottle of hot sauce for dipping at the table. Very occassionally, I'll switch to a fino pitta.

I used to love really spicy food and would always have gone for extra hot but menopause has killed that for me and I'd be really ill if I ate that now. For now, I'm still ok with medium and will dip an occassional corner of chicken into the hotter sauce for a little bit of the hit that I crave without too many after effects.

Nope. They reintroduced the chicken livers last year, they’re on the menu again.

If you’ve never tried the chicken livers with Portuguese roll and two sides (I usually go for corn on the cob and coleslaw) do it! Bloody gorgeous.

Ah OK. I’ve noticed that at certain locations they do an orange (and something else, can’t remember) sauce with the livers, it’s really good. Keep an eye out and try that.

Been once after constant badgering from DD about how amazing it was. Fries were bland at overcooked. Burger was tiny and all you could taste was spice. No real flavour. Almost £80 for four of us and that was just mains. Had better food in a wethersooons to be honest. Wouldn’t waste my money again
