I am having a look for a summer school to sign DS3 up to. We are commutable to London so it doesn't need to be residential. There are plenty of 'pre-uni' courses which are £3k+ and clearly aimed at rich overseas students with airport transport and trips to London etc included.

DS wants to do engineering or similar, and I'd need spend under a couple of grand. He's looking like will do well in GCSEs in STEM subjects.

DS2 did a theatre summer school last year and although he really enjoyed it I just thought it was a bit of a money making machine.

Advice?

Try Bath because they seem to be guaranteeing places for those that have attended
