I thought to share this nugget, I was looking for a house/cottage for a short break with disabled relative, due to disability needs to be a “home from home” set up, very specific layout/bathrooms etc plus the advantage of being able to take Ddog.
Looking for peak time, checked Booking.com and Airbnb. Went to book Airbnb and final price looked wrong, booking fee £172, plus cleaning fee. Decided to think on it, then Googled property name, found same property, cheaper nightly rate and only £30 booking fee! Stopped thinking about it and booked it.
When did the fees go so high on Airbnb? I’m be used them loads in the past.
