Birthday Money for 8 year old

Hello,

My daughter is turning 8 next month, and my grandparents have generously gifted her £300. Initially, they wanted to buy her an iPad, but she already has one (still works fine, just not used much).

My grandparents, being elderly and not in the best health, really want her to enjoy the money rather than it just sitting in her savings. Now, my daughter isn't big on material things, and I've already ruled out a year pass to attractions since she has a younger sibling.

So, I'm stuck for ideas, and my daughter a bit overwhelmed ! What could we do with this £300.

She loves music so I was thinking of buying her an instrument but my noise sensitive husband not too keen !!

Could you put it towards an electric piano with headphones?

Would it pay for a hobby? Like a term of gymnastics or horse riding?

replace her bike?

trolley dash in toys are us with half and a bookshop with the other.
