Hair salon and wash, cut and blow dry

I am booked in to a hair salon for a wash, cut and blow dry - (a trim).

My hairdresser always asked me how do I like my hair dried.

I never knew how to answer this except for volume. I would like loads of volume. I do like volume in my hair.

However my preference always has been for curls. When he asks me that question would it be ok to ask for curls or will I just leave it with a volume request.

Mine always asks if I want straight or curls. I always get curls

Mine will do curls if I ask. I think they start off enjoying it as more interesting to do but then it always seems to take ages and I start wondering if they wished I hadn't asked.

Mine will only dry hair straight for a cut and blow dry. Anything else (beach waves/curly) is classed as a "styled" and you have to pay another £7 for the privilege. If yours doesn't change extra then go for it.

Big and bouncy waves

If you say that they should know and you can also google this for photo to show them
