Lives here 3ish years and I was in a lucky position to be able to do a complete renovation to the kitchen and bathroom. The bedrooms, hallway, lounge have been painted and flooring replaced but nothing major.

The two rooms in the attic have just been repainted but still same flooring which I hate.

Been here 12 years. This is what we have done - in order of doing it:
Decorating (basic - to move into)
conservatory
new windows and front door
solar panels
terraced the garden and planted
decorating (sitting room, hall and stairs, spare bedroom)
planted hedge
family bathroom and en-suite
knocked out kitchen, added small extension, fabulous new kitchen and utility/shower room, plus EV charger.
new tiled flooring throughout ground floor
Decorating (Front porch/hall, my bedroom, DH bedroom, my office)

it is very different now and very much nicer. The only thing left to do now is to put in a stair lift if we get too decrepit to go up and down stairs.
