16 weeks and feeling bloody horrific

I'm 16 weeks with my second and this pregnancy has knocked me flat. Since 6 weeks on the dot I've had extreme fatigue, nausea (including vomiting), heartburn, the works. I'm 32. My eldest is 6 and I wasn't even nauseous with him, no heartburn til the end so this has been a total surprise. If I don't eat every hour I feel disgustingly sick (no exaggeration) but there is no food I really fancy at all. I'm on omeprazole for the heartburn. Had some anti nausea meds but they didn't really help - doesn't feel like motion sickness anyway, just horrible churning in my stomach. All my bloods etc were fine.

The last couple of weeks it has maybe been marginally better but I am yet to experience this second trimester burst of energy and glow I keep hearing about. I could happily sleep all day. I just want to enjoy a meal again 😭.

Anyone else????

I felt dreadful up until around 16 weeks and then felt OK! I would suggest eating a good amount of protein and keeping am eye of carbs as that helped me with the nausea.

I cannot tell you how ill anything protein heavy make me feel. Beige carby things are by far the least nausea inducing foods for me.

No advice but I'm only 7.5 weeks and feel sick all the time, when I'm hungry, after I eat.
This is my 4th pregnancy and I've never had nausea before, I'm not enjoying it all.
Hopefully it gets better.

With my 2nd I felt like this, it was rough going at times and the nausea got worse towards the end..I also remember that horrible feeling of needing to eat or I felt sick. I used to have to get up at night to eat or I would experience the same. Good luck and just rest as much as you can!
