Glasses causing rash

I’m having to increasingly wear glasses for reading, and have developed an itchy rash where they touch my nose. Any tips for getting rid of it?

It could be caused by the material they are made of - in which case creating a barrier between the glasses and your nose would be the cheapest way to go. Perhaps try painting the nose bits of the glasses with clear nail varnish? Or smothering your nose with a barrier cream? More expensively - get a new pair of glasses made from a different material.
Or it could be a sweat rash - if your specs are plastic and cover a good part of your nose that could be the case, so you would need to wedge them off your nose a little, perhaps with a little bit of gauze? To see if that helps.
