And walls knocked down, new floors etc etc woukd you assume/ expect that the tradesman would get you new skirting boards? Our current ones are terrible and all
Damaged from 30 years of abuse.

We haven't done that yet ( they haven't asked) I'd forgotten about little details like this and now I'm
Panicking that there will be other things that I won't have thought of that will ruin the look on me after spending 30k on renovations

Both our builder and painter asked us if we wanted them to put it in. Builder was doing it anyway but painter's quote was buttons in the grand scheme of things.

Yes 💯

I really recommend being on site every day to check in on the days work and snag check because random things will happen and builders (even talented ones) do weird and awful things if left unchecked.
