Does anyone know what this is?

I keep getting spots in my vision that last a few seconds, as though a migraine is coming on or ive looked at the sun. A blotch in my vision. It makes me think a migraine is coming but then disappears. It happens several times a day. I cant seem to get the right search terms to find what it could be. I'm not sure how else to describe it, maybe it's normal (mid 40s) or maybe I should see someone?

Is it floaters (brown blobs)? If so, they’re normal

However, if you get a sudden increase in them, and/or accompanied by lights, blurred vision, etc, then you need to see your optician or a and e straight away as that could be a detached retina.

Not sure that they are brown. More colourful, literally like when you've caught the sun in your eyes and you can't see through a particular spot for a few mins.

You could be getting just visual migraines.

I get that exact thing as a warning I have a migraine coming.

I think its as above.
Either call 111 for reassurance if you want or get an opticians appointment - specsavers many about and look online or call for cancellations - they open Sundays as well, weel where we live they do

I get floaters but if you have not had them before best to get second opinion, but noting to worry about IMO

Thanks,I've had my eyes tested in last few months and all was well. Optician said only to worry about bright flashes but didn't do much to explain the issue.
If its potentially a migraine it's like I'm have lots of tiny ones a day. It is just like that.
