Cough remedies

A while ago there was a great thread about cough remedies with recipes. I stored them on my phone, which was subsequently wiped by mistake. I have an awful gut wrenching cough. Please give me some ideas for remedies.

Didn’t see the thread but these (although vile tasting) stop any cough I’ve had. They sell in Tesco & local chemists & I think I’ve seen them in b&m. There is also a syrup but I’ve never tried that. I always have the pastilles in stock for when a cough hits.

Manuka honey - any way you want to take it. In water as a steam inhalation, by the teaspoon etc.
