I now have to go through the online banking Log-On procedure twice in succession before I can access my account. I simply wondered why - so I (warily) asked the Chatbot, called 'Sandi', what was the reason.
'Sandi', fairly predictably, replied "I'm sorry, I do not understand the question" and asked me to try again using a different combination of words.
Long story cut short: 'Sandi' was still stumped by my query after 3 further attempts and I frustratedly typed "Sandi - you are, as usual, being thick."
'Sandi' promptly replied "you're welcome."
I sincerely hope government departments aren't relying on Chatbots like 'Sandi' too much......
