Sense of dread.

I’ve been at my current employment coming on 15 years, we got a lot of changes coming up in a few weeks, I’ve been though a lot of changes in the past but this feels different, I feel different, I can’t put my finger on it, a sense of dread.. not just for work but in my personal life. I admit I have anxiety quite often but I’ve never had this sinking feeling. Everything just feels different. I feel like I’m in this whirlwind.

anyone else had a feeling like this.

Yes. It's anxiety.
You said you'd had anxiety before, but it sounds like this time it's a bit more acute. Are you perhaps perimenopausal? This is when anxiety and dread/panic became almost unbearable for me

Please seek help from GP. I've had HRT, but also exercise a lot now and take CBD. I feel a bit better now, but it still simmers there and pops up occasionally.

I hope you find a solution, it's grim 💐

If you've been at this job for 15 years, is it possible you are feeling tired of it? And while you might have been energized by upcoming changes and challenges 10 or even 5 years ago, you just feel a bit exhausted with it all?

Perhaps a career or job change is in your future? Could this be the nudge you need? Trying to think positively!
