Second babies, were yours heavier or born earlier?

Currently 38+5 and my baby is already estimated to be over 8lb 😬

My first was born at 38+3 (failed induction, EMCS) and was 7lb 5.

In your experiences, did yours weigh more/less than your first and when were they born?

DD1 1 day early 7lbs 8
DD2 2 days late 8lbs 6

DD1 ended up 3 inches taller than DD2 (and me!)

1st was 40+2 7lbs 7oz boy,
2nd 8lbs8, 39+6 boy (told he was very small and less than 6lbs, so 8lbs 8 was quite the surprise!).
3rd was 38+1 7lbs 8 (induced for pre-eclampsia)

So I guess they got bigger/earlier?

Ds1 born 1 day after due date 6.3lb
Dd1 ten days late 9lb
Ds 2 induced 2 days after due date 8.4lb

My first and second were both born an 38+6. 7lb 1oz followed by 8lb 2oz. My third was prem but if he'd gone full term I think he would have been nearer 9lb

Dc1- 3 weeks early and 6lb
Dc2- 2 weeks early and 6lb 2

1 - 40+5, 8lb 6oz
2 - 40+2, 8lb 2oz

DD2 would likely have been the same weight as DD1 if she’d been born at the same gestation.

Currently 34+1 with DS and he is measuring big so I’m expecting a he’ll be bigger than my girls.

1st 1 week early and 8lbs
2nd 1 day early and 7lbs 8oz - and born 1h/20 from first contraction. Just about managed to get to hospital

Baby 1. 40 weeks 8.13
Baby 2. 28 weeks 2.11

both 6ft plus now !

My first was an induction when he was about a week late, he weighed 10lb4oz and my second was an induction when he was I want to say a week late but I can't really remember and he weighed 10lb5oz.

Both were over. DC2 was 2lb heavier at 10lb9. Yes I can birth vaginally.

Ds1 weighed 7lb 1, 2 days late
DD weighed 9lb 1, also 2 days late
Ds2 weighed 9lb 10, 5 days early.

I had 2 sweeps on ds2 as my consultant didn't want me going over my due date because of his estimated weight, luckily the 2nd sweep worked and he was born the same day.

First was born 41 weeks induced over start of preeclampsia and was 9lbs 9ozs. Second was born at planned induction at 38 weeks and was 9lbs 6.5ozs, I was given the option to continue with the pregnancy but she was going to come early regardless because I was in labour when I went in and didn't even know 😂 plus it took me over ten years to get over the trauma my first ds caused with the cuts and he tears he caused, I still shudder when I think of trying to wee and pop for the first few weeks after his birth 😩

Mine were both born at 41 weeks. DC1 was 7lbs, DC2 was just under 9lbs. 2nd birth much quicker and less scary though!

39 + 5 at 7lbs 4oz
38 + 0 at 8lbs 3oz

Both my DC were born on their due dates. Second baby was much smaller, no idea why.
Ist - 6lb 11oz
2nd - 5lb 6oz

Born exactly same time both 3 days early. Second an ounce lighter

Mine were almost identical in terms of weight (7lb) and length of gestation (37+0 ie not long after midnight and 37-0 ie just before midnight). Births were very similar although dc2 was a lot quicker.

1st 10 days late and 8lb 10 - waters broke but no active labour.
2nd 5 days early 8lb 13.5 - spontaneous labour.

I'm just over 5ft and always been rather slim so both were quite large baby's for me.

DD1 was 5 days early and weighed 6lb 10oz
DD2 was a week past her due date and weighed 9lb 3oz. I went into labour a couple of days after having my stretch and sweep.

Much, much easier birth with DD2 despite her being a lot bigger.

Both heavier and born earlier.

DS1- 40+2 7lb 1.5oz
DS2 - 40 weeks exactly 9lb
Both spontaneous labour

DS1 10lb 6 40+4ish
DS2 8lb 12 40+3ish
DS3 10lb 3 40+3
DD1 10lb 3 41 weeks
DD2 10lb 3 40+3
DD3 10lb 40+3
DD4 due in 1 week!

Earlier and lighter
#1 3 days late, 7lb 15oz
#2 4 days early 6lb 14oz
#3 8 days early 6lb 6 oz

DC1 born at 40 weeks - 9lb
DC2 born at 42 weeks - 8lb 13
DC3 born at 38 weeks - 6lb 6

So mine got smaller....
