Is tiktok shop a scam ?

How's it work ?

I've never ordered, but know plenty who have.

It strikes me as too weird so I haven't taken the plunge haha

Some stuff looks affa dodgy and far too good to be true - but if you buy off a brands verified tiktok shop it should be ok.

I buy all my toilet rolls from there 🤣 you get a discount on your first buy so I've used my account and then the kids accounts to get it even cheaper (around £11 for 90) I bought a few things over xmas as well, never had a bad experience.

It keeps you updated just as any shop would, and I believe that they are good at refunding if there's any problems.

Depends on the brand! One of my businesses has a tiktok shop and it's the same things we sell on our own website and at events, but if the profile looks like a scammy one then presumably the shop could also be scammy. Use common sense I guess, if it looks too good to be true it's probably is.

Will say that tiktok sometimes offers random discounts or free shipping etc on items which the seller doesn't choose or have control over.

I just bought 90 loo rolls . Now to see if they turn up 😅

I've had some decent stuff from there. Some clothes and wigs.

They show up in clear packaging, I always feel the need to over explain to the delivery guy 🤣

Never had an issue. Everything is tracked from dispatch to delivery. In fact a dress I ordered earlier this week has just arrived.

I will tell them there's lots of verble diarrhea in this house hold

So no more worry than ebay , amazon , vinted etc

I've bought loads of branded makeup from it and it's always been grand. Lots of communication about delivery status too
