Re yesterday's - I always associate stout with barley, not hops...

I'm still working through today's puzzle, but on yesterday's.....
Being Irish, my thoughts were - that's a terrible pint of Guinness, way too bubbly! And what the hell is a sprig of herbs doing stuck in there?

@BasilParsley - you're right in that stout is more associated with barley, but it also has hops. However, it is the barley that gives it its dark coffee color.

Re yesterday, as a stout drinker, my thought was that it was a terrible description of stout. I know hops are used in brewing it but "hoppy" is usually used to describe the taste or smell of hops in the product.
