Why are dungarees so comfortable?

Bought my first pair and don't want to take them off! Why are they so much more comfy than jeans??

Where did you get them from can I ask?

No waistband.
But they aren’t more comfy. The ‘shoulders’ drop off and the crotch is always uncomfortably high or saggy and rubbing.

I have never found them comfortable because I have a long body so dungarees and jumpsuits both spell wedgie to me.

Same reason pinafore dresses are much more comfortable than skirts - no waistband.

@cardibach I have that problem with jumpsuits especially the crotch and sleeve lengths and was hesitant too, but these really are comfy - maybe they're just the perfect size/fit for me 😂

I wondered if there is some sort of logical rationale behind the comfiness as dungarees are so popular near me, but I've resisted them for so long!😂

I wonder if it's the novelty factor as I've never had a pair before 😂

Yeas, adding to the no waistband. I also don't like things tight at the top of my legs, so it means the crotch can sit neatly well below and not look too bad.

I wear dresses most of the time though.

I'm also very short nape to waist so that helps too.

@Butteredtoast55 I look like super mario!😂but I found that I can stick a hot water down the front of them whilst mooching at home meaning I don't have to carry it so I don't really care how I look 😂

@Boredwored A hot water bottle down the dungarees sounds like heaven to me. Like a little kangaroo pouch of loveliness 😃

This is me too! I loathed the 80s with everyone wearing 'bodysuits'. They did not suit my body...

I always find l drop the straps in the toilet though😕
