Vamouse head lice treatment - the smell?!

Hi, used Vamouse on my DD and it seems to have done the trick in killing lice and comed out a load of nits too, so fingers crossed!
BUT, the smell on her hair is still there, 4 washes after the initial treatment. When does it end?!?! Any tips, it's giving me a headache I'm sure.

It took a couple of washes with DD but I did shampoo her hair twice each time.

It didn't kill everything though and today I've redone it with Full Marks (which doesn't smell)and am hoping for better results.

If this one doesn't work I'll be grateful for any suggestions, I'm conditioning and combing every 2 days, have washed all her bedding and pyjamas but she still has them.

Used vamouse today and got the lice and nits out.
You need to use the nitty gritty comb. It even takes out the pesky eggs.
Use that comb every few days I'm told to keep them away
I also got a repellent spray. Hoping this does the trick x
