I'm not being rude I'm genuinely shocked that with all this choice and different combinations of products etc that a teen whose not that into skincare or make up would know what on earth to choose.

I mean people are throwing names at me on here but without the precise actual products full name, I'm struggling.

There are a million and one variations.

She's doing her hw, I'm struggling on here about to drop a lot of money.

Tbh I think you saying... Get her to do it at 16 is a challenging comment. What reply do you expect?

"oh malone...der I should have thought of that before asking on here why didn't I think of that"??

Only on mn.

You’re being unnecessarily defensive about this, I wasn’t challenging you at all - in fact I’ve tried to help and the suggestions fall on deaf ears. Other posters have been very clear about what they’ve suggested and you’re still questioning it - just google the products!

Malone, what reaction did you expect from "your daughter isb16 she should do it"?

Edited

For you to consider allowing your 16 your old to choose her own skincare? It’s not a far fetched idea, most 16 year olds are doing the same. DD wouldn’t have wanted me to be choosing hers at that age

I really can’t understand why you’re taking it as some sort of attack, it’s a suggestion. I’ve tried to give advice and help you out (on numerous points). Not sure what’s wrong with that as that’s what your post was asking.

I never said that ‘she should be doing it’. Go back and re-read my post. I said that it would probably be better to let her choose for herself, especially if you’re unsure.

Apologies for trying to help you out OP!

My 16yo was happy for me to get her skincare. I got a cerave set and she is really happy with it. Has definitely helped her skin.

She got the blemish control stuff.

@Fluffycloudsfloatinginthesky thank you.
I think we will have to stick to cerave for now. Unfortunately the reviews of the other brands mentioned show they have changed the formula recently and are not as good.
