Times small (positive) things have made you cry

I'm a lone parent. I find parenting exhausting. My son has suspected adhd and other health issues. It's hard work and I often feel judged. Today, I was talking to someone close to me about this and they said 'you're doing such an amazing job, look how safe and happy he is' and I just burst out crying. I desperately needed to hear this.

What are some times you've had a very emotional response to a small act of kindness?

I was given a bunch of flowers at work a few weeks ago by someone for whom I'd done a regular small favour.
I don't normally find that sort of thing makes me cry but I've been having issues with some people at work and that made me realise it wasn't everyone.

A child I'd taught over 15 years ago hugged me when I randomly bumped into her in the street and told me I'd been her inspiration to become a teacher 🥰
