Talking about sex

Inspired by another thread about losing one's virginity has inspired me to post.

I "lost my own virginity" or as i prefer to say, "became sexually active" at age 15 when I started masturbating.

A penis doesn't (and shouldn't) hold that much inportance, and i find it a bit strange that we all view sex from such a male centric place.

Also, how many times we have sex seems to tally against how many times a male ejaculated and not how many times we women orgasm. "Oh we've had sex twice today!" = he orgasmed twice. Whereas as a woman, I think we should centre ourselves in our language around sex. "I came 6 times today!" Is way more sex positive and wholesome. Female pleasure should be front and centre in our conversations.

It's such a sexist, regressive, patriarchal way to count our sexual experiences, isn't it?

I'd really prefer not to have a conversation with anyone about how many times a day I come.
