3 months pregnant and constantly been unwell!

Anyone else ever experienced this during pregnancy and the baby has been ok?

If it isn’t rhinitis, it’s a cold, or feeling like I have tonsillitis and just utterly drained. The latter has subsided now, but I’m left feeling so MEH from the after effects of it all. I’m sat here wondering that these illnesses and allergies etc just cannot have been good for my baby in the most crucial development stages. I’m only 12 weeks now! And this has been constant since around week 6. No vomiting or nausea, but just like a walking cold/blocked nose drained mess 😭

Bless you, I was like this with my second, constantly ill, if it wasn’t a cold, sinusitis requiring antibiotics, covid then it was the most horrendous vomiting bug! All in the space of a few months. I feel for you, it’s truly awful. For what it’s worth, she is one now and she is so robust and developing beautifully. Wishing you all the best and congratulations.

Thank you so much for responding. Honestly, I’ve never felt this rubbish! I dream of breathing through my nose again. Then I get anxious and feel stressed from trying to not stress, over the damage I imagine I’m causing the baby. I’m so glad to hear your daughter is effectively unharmed from your bouts of illness, it really does bring me some peace. I feel awful that I haven’t been able to provide this “safe” growing environment, when I feel like a bunged up cold-ridden mess 🥺
