Measles - I don't know if I have immunity and I've been exposed. Not sure what to do.

Got a call yesterday from a doctor with the health service to say I'd been exposed to measles last week. I'm 57 and was born before the measles vaccination was given to children in the UK as a routine thing. My 88 year old mum can't remember if I've had measles or whether I've been jabbed. I was also not in the UK for much of my childhood (from 3 to 11)

I'm supposed to be working tonight (I work with medically vulnerable adults) - really not sure what to do.

Anyone know how I'd find out if I have immunity to measles?

I don’t think you can find out about immunity - your medical records should show if you had the jab or were treated for measles but these may not be complete if you have lived abroad.
What you should do (as soon as possible) is contact the company you work for and ask their advice. They will know how much of a risk you could be to the people you care for.

Check PHE measles info. Did the doc who called you not advise you ? you can ring them back.
