Trying to think what to do, call round or phone

I only opened a letter last night and deadline was yesterday. We've had so much chaos I thought it was from police and put it aside. But no, it's about a project.

Would it be better to walk over and plead or phone?

We’re going to need a lot more info than that

Mindymomo · 21/02/2024 08:32

Deadline for what, can you give more information. If it’s a planning matter, then there’s nothing you can do, the deadline has passed for submitting comments.

No it's a health care project related to MSc. I think I'm going to walk over and explain I've had so much chaos going on that I made a mistake in not opening it.

They can say no but at least I've tried.

So, uni sent you a letter about a deadline for your MSc, and you opened it after you were supposed to submit the work?
How long ago did you recieve the letter? And is this really how MSc's operate these days? Ours was all electronic and on notice bards, and that was 20 years ago!

As an aside, I find it strange that you’d put a letter aside thinking it was from Plod. It’d be the first thing I’d open!

No it was on my own initiative that I took on a project which would have made a good case study for MSc.

It's been a difficult past 2 months and although I let project know they don't appear to have got the message. Anyway cross your fingers for me, I hope I can salvage this.

I've absolutely no idea what you're talking about. You need to set some context

It's not complicated, I took on a project which would hugely benefit me and be useful for MSc.

But they sent me a letter which I only opened last night due to all the chaos going on here and was dismayed I had to respond within a fortnight which was yesterday.

They do seem to think I'm incapable of opening letters but I've spoken to them now and it's reinstated which is a huge relief. I did have to plead a little and be very thankful.

Also inteigued as to why you thought a letter was from the police and set it aside for two weeks
