I find modern life really stressful

Things were so much easier decades ago. It might've been slower pre-internet but you had time to learn & get your head around things. Now you have to find computer files, amend and move them around. The thing you want is never there, you can't log in. I'm not technically minded but I'm doing my best. Doesn't help that I don't have anyone to go to for help/how to. I manage, but only just. I long to move away somewhere quiet & leave computers to the young ones. Anyone else like me?

I feel like there's too many options, always something that looks better. Too many distractions. Pressure to successful, to do nice things. No one invests in friendships in the same way any more.

I struggle. My brain just can’t do it. I am forever having to ask colleagues to show me something. It doesn’t help that they keep changing the systems that we use. I feel like an idiot a dozen times a day. Computers aren’t even a huge part of my role, I hate it.

😂😂😂 yes I mean the tech is just so ridiculous - I think I know what’s what then bam someone asks me to do something and I’m like what on earth is that?!

I feel the same, I’m perfectly capable but I feel really stressed doing it. It’s like it adds an extra layer to whatever I’m doing!

Yes it's all a bit much. I would like to go back in time and live in another decade if I could.

Don't worry. AI will make things easy again.
