Being kicked at work (school)

I work as a 1-1 in a primary school with a child who has very high SEN and educational needs. Today he kicked me just when i was walking past although it didn't hurt and there is no mark . I really don't know what to do or whether it needs reporting ive only been there 4 months so this is a first for me. I kind of feel its expected working with children with sen needs but shall it be reported ??

I would want documented, it may go towards a pattern of behaviour which will need specific handling.

Did the child kick you by accident, were they swinging their legs and you just happened to be in the way, were they angry and deliberately kicked you to try and hurt you?

Did you say anything to tre child at the time, even children with Sen need to learn that is not acceptable if done deliberately.

It should go on an ABCC (antecedent, behaviour, communication, consequences) chart. Your school will almost certainly have them, talk to the SENCo.
