Which exceptionally safe place have I put my tin of pins in?

It's not on my bedside cabinet, even though I could have sworn that's where I left them 🤷‍♀️ Not on my coffee table, or under the table on the chair that holds my diary & any post that needs further attention, while we eat. Not in my crochet bag either (although there are some spilled pins I could root out of there if I have to 🙄).

I wanted to put on my Eras Tour boots and dress and get dd1 to pin the dress tonight too!

In the cupboard/box/drawer where you put your last sewing project?

Although, if DD is old enough to pin a dress, I'd be looking in her bedroom first. (I may be speaking from bitter experience)

No, my last project was an alteration & they went back in my bag of threads after that & I got them out of there this weekend.

Dd isn't likely to have them but I will check in her room when I go for a shower shortly.

I think they must have eloped with my crochet hook case.😆

Have you looked in the fridge? 😂
Look again in the obvious places, it will probably turn up.
Look under seat cushions, move the sofa and check all your pockets.

any chance you popped them back in the bag of the threads??

I think they’re with my favourite unpicker and @Ruralrecluse’s crochet hook 😄

Found them!

Under my giant hoodie 🙄

I must have moved them this morning without thinking about it & I have no recollection of doing it 🤷‍♀️

I can pin my dress where I think I want it now, and get dd to check it tomorrow/Thurs evening.
