5 foot 4 and I weigh 10 stone. I want to ideally get down to 9 stone as that is where I am most comfortable. I am in my mid 40s and aware that if I go too thin my face will suffer. My BMI is in the heathy range and I am a size 12 on the bottom and 10 on top.

What I have eaten today -

Breakfast - Two pieces of Wholemeal toast with one banana and butter

lunch - one tin of tuna with cucumber, tomatoes, one boiled egg, a few grapes and a spoon of hummus

A treat - 4 celebration chocolates

For tea I will have a similar salad with lettuce, tuna, cheese, tomatoes and hummus.

I bought some slimfast shakes but they are rank 🙈

I'm obese with a BMI just shy of 40 at 5 foot tall and 14 stone 7 but trying to lose weight 🙂 if anyone can advise on yester days meals?

Breakfast... porridge (27g sachet) with semi skimmed milk, a sliced pear on top. Cup of tea. 500ml water

Drink 700ml water bottle through the morning.

Snack a handful of grapes and a coffee

Lunch a chicken salad sandwich on brown bread.
Cup of tea

Another 700 ml water through the afternoon.

Dinner ... tortellini filled pasta with half a plate of salad.

Today's plan...

Breakfast 40g shreddies, handful of blueberries on top and half a banana

Won't have morning snack probably.

Lunch I've packed some cooked chicken slices, 2 seeded oatcakes, a small tub of homous and some grapes.

Dinner is homemade turkey meatballs with tomato sauce and spaghetti try to have half a plate of salad with it.

Lots of water through the day plus tea

Edited

are you not starving??
It seems quite carb heavy and needs more protein and a lot more veg as you're probably not even hitting you 5 a day.

I'd say you're drinking too much water, new research suggests we don't need that much, especially if you're not heavily exercising . There is a fad at the moment for huge water bottles with gradients on them. Too much fluid can upset electrolytes. X

So far today

Tea, yogurt, walnuts, dates and a kiwi

Later will be pot roast chicken and veg

No doubt at some point I'll have some toast with butter and a bowl of cornflakes if I get peckish. This will probably be my lunch actually as nothing planned

Thelightis · 21/02/2024 10:43

Oops I tell a lie I did have a random small bowl of left over goulash with a bit of rice because I woke up really early feeling hungry and wanted to eat some filling food.

If you clench your fist that's the portion I had due the random timing

Thelightis · 21/02/2024 10:47

Every other day or so at the moment in the evening I have one or two of red Lindt Lindor Truffles.

Thelightis · 21/02/2024 10:50

Yesterday I had

Coffee, tea, yogurt, nuts, dates

Packet of kettle sweet chilli crisps

Goulash and rice

Cornflakes

Lindt chocolate

During the week I fast for most of the day and eat between about 5-6pm. At the weekend I eat between 1-6pm (so I can get an empire biscuit and BLT from my current favourite cafe while walking the dog).

Yesterday I had two pieces of toast with peanut butter at 5:30ish, then a MASSIVE bowl of tofu and bean chilli with salad (mostly lettuce and tomatoes), almost a whole avocado, corn chips, grated cheese and yogurt (I'd run out of sour cream). Other than that, just black coffee and herbal tea.

I'm 5' 7" and weigh 66 kgs

Breakfast - Vanilla skyr with blueberries, strawberries, mixed seeds, drizzle honey.

Lunch - Beetroot salad with red pepper, cucumber, tuna mayo, hard boiled egg, balsamic vinegar

Dinner - will be homemade butternut squash & carrot soup with some sour cream & seeds, maybe a slice of toasted sourdough and some cheese. Chunk of dark chocolate.

Snack - cheese scone

Drinks - 2 litres water, loads of tea with milk, 1 diet coke

I exercise daily, average 15k steps which I get in cardio classes &/or walking. I try to eat lots of protein to support all the exercise I do, and find I feel good with limited carbs / upf but I am not too strict and do sometimes eat quite a lot of junk! I try not to eat more than around 2100 cals a day. I rarely drink alcohol. I've maintained this weight for 6 months and feel strong, toned and healthy. I'm the fittest I've ever been, in my mid 40s. Hope I can keep it up!
