Is there anywhere nice to have a drink, pre-show in Bradford?

Haven't been to Bradford for years but am off to see a show next month at St George's Hall.

Is there anywhere nearby that's nice and not rough? Bradford has somewhat of a reputation for being a bit sketchy I think

One last bump, then I'm going to assume that there's nowhere at all worth visiting!

Try the Record Cafe on North Parade. Nowhere I can think of off the top of my head near St George's. But I don't get out much.

Distant memory of the bar at St George's Hall itself being quite pleasant.
