Parking high vans

Our road is used as a cut through a lot in the morning and afternoon. At the end is another road, again busy in morning and afternoons.

Someone has taken to parking a high van at the junction which means that visibility is greatly reduced, so coming out of our road, is a matter of edging out very slowly onto a busier road. It is parked up there for weeks at a time.
Perfectly legally parked though.

When a car is parked there it's not a problem.

Is there anything I can do in this situation? I wondered about leaving a note, but I suspect that if the owners were amenable to that they'd be unlikely to have left it there in the first place.

There are other lots of other places to park just seconds' walk away.

How far from the junction is it? I believe there are measurements in the Highway Code on minimum distances.

It's in a marked space for parking - all the hashed areas are non double yellow. And there are often parking spaces free, they just choose to park on that particular spot.

I thought that vehicles were not permitted to park within ten metres of a junction, because of visibility.

We have cars and vans parked on a junction nearby, ignoring the rule and it’s a nightmare to navigate.

Thanks @whatsappdoc I've just checked the highway code and it looks like it might be too close. There's lots of other parking so hopefully they can move it.

In reality there's little you can do. The entrance to our street has become a nightmare for vans and cars parked on the junction. Our council tell you to report nuisance parking on the app but then don't do anything about it. The worst van for this here is... You've guessed it, a council van.
