Can anyone explain this dream?

I’ll preface with saying I know dreams are just the brain doing its thing but last night I had the most vivid dream of my life.

I was in a field and there was a strong rainbow with the end was around 100m in front of me. I went towards it and stood directly in the end of the rainbow with my arms spread and felt the most amazing feeling of peace wash over me. I can still feel it this morning now I’m up and about.

anyone have any idea what this could “mean”? It just seems so vivid and symbolic.

Hi OP I'm a retired psychotherapist and I used to LOVE working with people's dreams.
On the simplest level, what strikes me about your dream is that your unconscious is alerting you to your capacity for peace and joy. How's your life at the moment? You don't need to answer that obviously but if the question makes you think of anxieties and problems, the dream is just saying hey, life's tough right now but that's not all there is, you have this wonderful peaceful expansiveness inside you too (the open arms). It's a message of hope and faith in yourself, from yourself.
